The Seattle Orcas have re-signed top-order batsman and USA vice-captain Aaron Jones ahead of the 2024 Major League Cricket season set to kick off in early July.

Following a stellar T20 Men’s World Cup this Summer where he helped lead the USA to a stunning win against Pakistan and a first appearance in the Super-8, Jones re-joins the Seattle Orcas with whom he spent the 2023 season.

A right-handed batter known for his big hitting in the top order, Jones turned in a historic performance to open the World Cup against Canada - smashing 10 sixes en route to a match winning 94 not out from 40 deliveries. Jones has scored more than 500 runs in his T20 career at an average of 27.

Jones grew up playing alongside West Indies stalwarts like Shai Hope and Jason Holder before making his debut for Barbados in List-A cricket in 2016. In 2018 he made his USA international debut and since then has become one of the most respected and experienced members of the team that made so many memories for American cricket fans this summer.

With his explosive batting and steady leadership, Aaron Jones is poised to make a significant impact for the Seattle Orcas in 2024 in the upcoming season of Major League Cricket.
