Seattle Orcas are thrilled to welcome West Indies international, Kyle Mayers, to the Podsquad!

Kyle Mayers is a left-handed middle-order batter and a handy right-arm medium pacer but is mainly known for his dynamic batting and powerful six-hitting ability. Overall, he has played 181 T20s, scoring 3640 runs and picking up 58 wickets.

Before joining the Seattle Orcas, Mayers played for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in ILT20 Season 3, the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and several other T20 franchises worldwide.

Mayers has consistently performed at a high level in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), finishing as the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament's eighth edition (2022). He staggered 1378 runs combining all three seasons.

The 32-year-old also made an impact in his first IPL season, scoring four half-centuries for the Lucknow Super Giants. With the help of four half-centuries, Kyle Mayers impressed with 379 runs in 13 games.

Moreover, he has been a consistent performer in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) by scoring 200+ runs in just six or seven games in both seasons.

With extensive experience across multiple franchises, Kyle Mayers is set to join the Seattle Orcas’ powerhouse lineup as we prepare for the third season of Major League Cricket.
